
The Friendly Home is proud to announce that Michael Perrotta has been selected by the Rochester Business Journal as a 2020 Health Care Hero Award winner. This prestigious award recognizes Perrotta’s many accomplishments and significant contributions to improving health care at the Friendly Home, as well as in the greater Rochester area. Nominated in the Management category, Perrotta is exceptionally deserving of this award. He and the other Health Care Hero honorees will be celebrated at an awards luncheon in Rochester in March.
Perrotta’s 20 year career in the health care
field exhibits a deep devotion to serving older adults. In his role as Vice
President & Administrator, Perrotta has a tremendous impact on the Friendly
Home, its staff, and most importantly, the older adults served by the
organization. He has been instrumental in a number of important areas,
including the advancement of person-directed care; achievement of the highest
levels of quality recognition; implementation of a unique staff training
program; and the evolution of memory care programming. Glen Cooper, President
