“It Feels Like Home As Soon As You Walk In”

Cloverwood Senior Living recently hosted a panel discussion. The panelists: our residents. The audience: guests from the community interested in a potential move to a senior living community. The outcome: lots of helpful tips and advice!

Many people struggle with figuring out when – for them – is the right time to make a move. That question was answered by one of Cloverwood’s residents, Bob, who said, “It’s better to be five years too soon than five minutes too late. You should come and enjoy everything Cloverwood has to offer!” Other residents who have moved to Cloverwood in the last couple of years wholeheartedly agreed. Why? Here are some of the most common reasons:

“I love the advantages of having a patio home. No more maintenance, snow shoveling, or lawn mowing.”

“After living in Hilton Head for several years, I wanted to come back to be closer to family and friends.”

“At first I said ‘I’m not ready to move into a senior community!’ Yet it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m very glad my son encouraged me to make the move. My patio home is very homey and I love it.”

“As a native Rochesterian with my children out of town, I feel a sense of relief and of being settled. I most enjoy the quiet within myself that I made this decision. I love Cloverwood now, but also feel very confident in the continuum.”

“I can’t say enough about the service, the amenities and the staff. And the food is 5-star.”

The sentiment expressed most frequently and strongly by residents during the panel discussion was “I wish I had moved sooner.” We understand that moving to a senior living community, even one as independent and active as Cloverwood, is a huge decision. If you are considering such a move, we encourage you to come and visit Cloverwood and learn more about living here. To hear more from our residents who have already made the move, click here:
