“To the Mountains and Back” Watercolor Exhibit on Display at Friendly Home

Brighton, NY, January 3, 2019 – The work of local artist Tracie Doerner is currently on display in the Friendly Home’s Memorial Gallery located at 3156 East Avenue in Brighton. The watercolor exhibit, titled To the Mountains and Back, may be viewed daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. now through March 31, 2019. Admission is free. Doerner’s paintings reflect her view of life, and her inspiration comes from being in the Adirondack Mountains. Two of her works, watercolors titled Frozen View of Mirror Lake and Signs of the Past, have been seen in the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors. Another painting, Frozen Raquette Lake, received Most Popular honor at the Central Adirondack Show in Spring of 2017, and came in first place in the Master’s Division at the same show in 2018. Doerner is a member of the Pittsford Art Group and Rochester Art Club. Doerner attended the University of Arizona, where she studied Graphic Design and Illustration. She is a resident of Greece.
