Brighton, NY, August 9, 2023 – The works of local artists Debi Bloom and Mike Kamish are currently on display in the Friendly Home’s Memorial Gallery located at 3156 East Avenue in Brighton. This exhibit, titled Journeys, may be viewed daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. now through September 30, 2023. Admission is free.
Bloom paints with oils, acrylics and watercolors. She lets each painting determine the medium she uses, providing her with flexibility and a rich experience. Bloom is also the owner of Instant Monogramming, Inc. Kamish uses a unique and original textured acrylic format to create imaginary landscape paintings. His art depicts rugged mountain scenes, stormy clouds and deep forest scenes with contrast, bold colors and a sense of mystery. Kamish won a Merit Award in the 2022 Barnes & Noble Show, as the well as the People’s Choice Award for his landscape painting “Gnarled Hilltop.” Both Kamish & Bloom are members of the Pittsford Art Group.
