Friendly Senior Living is proud to recognize three Friendly Home former Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who recently became Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Friendly Senior Living supported these employees through financial assistance and reduced work schedules while they pursued this career advancement opportunity.
“We are very pleased to congratulate DeNisha Anderson, Yona Lassere and Nina Rivera, who all successfully completed the LPN program in the summer of 2024,” said Mary Anne Detmer, VP of Human Resources for Friendly Senior Living. “Our Staff Training & Education Program (STEP) helps make it possible for employees to take advantage of rewarding opportunities to learn, grow and advance within the elder health care field.”
DeNisha, Nina and Yona all agree that STEP played a vital role in earning their LPN certification. For example, the program covers all class, lab and test fees. Further, enrolled candidates receive full-time pay while working a reduced schedule in order to allow time to attend classes and study.
