The Friendly Home is proud to announce that it has been recognized as a Best Nursing Home 2022-2023 by U.S. News & World Report for both long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitative care. Only 16% of skilled nursing facilities in the entire country achieved this coveted designation.
U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 facilities nationally; criteria included care, safety, infection rates, staffing and health inspections. New this year were two additional measures: weekend staffing and infection rates leading to hospitalizations.
“We are extremely proud to be ranked so highly among the very best providers in the country, state and county. Recognition as a Best Nursing Home by U.S. News & World Report reflects the dedication of our staff to providing excellent and compassionate care to those we are so honored to serve,” says Michael Perrotta, Friendly Home VP & Administrator.
The Friendly Home has placed on the U.S. News & World Report list of Best Nursing Homes every year since 2016. In addition to this latest recognition by U.S. News & World Report, the Friendly Home has been ranked the #1 nursing home in Monroe County and #2 in New York out of over 600 nursing homes in the state on Newsweek’s list of 2022-2023 Best Nursing Homes. The Friendly Home was also recently awarded 5 Stars from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the highest possible rating.
