Eleven residents of Cloverwood Senior Living proudly displayed their personal artwork at the Friendly Home’s Art Gallery for a special exhibit called “Visual Joy” for two weeks in June. Last week, a reception was held in honor of these Cloverwood artists who shared their work. Friends, families and fellow residents attended the celebration as they enjoyed the exhibit together.
“This was a very nice event, and a wonderful opportunity for myself and fellow Cloverwood artists to display our work,” says Cloverwood resident Susan Peachey. Some of the artists are self-taught; others honed their craft with local artists and teachers, and through classes at the Memorial Art Gallery. The special exhibit included landscape, still life and portrait pieces in a variety of mediums.
