About Ann Limbeck

For Ann Limbeck, art has been a lifelong passion rooted in family, education, and curiosity.

“My grandmother helped build the foundation that became my world of art,” Limbeck said. “She encouraged my creativity from an early age, teaching me that every child learns differently.”

A wife, mother, grandmother, retired New York State public school art teacher, volunteer, and continuing education instructor, Limbeck has spent decades inspiring others through the visual arts.

“Art tells stories, evokes emotions, and allows every viewer to discover something uniquely their own.”

Her paintings reflect the belief that every experience becomes an image waiting to be expressed. “Everything I see, read, or experience becomes a picture of some sort in my mind’s eye,” Limbeck said. “Light, color, smell, or temperature can trigger a memory or create a new one.

She belongs to two local art organizations and enjoys traveling, with many of her recent works drawing inspiration from her journeys abroad.
